In a not-so-distant future, a “Grand Lottery” has been introduced with a deadly twist: to lawfully obtain the winner’s multi-billion dollar prize, they must be eliminated before sunset. When Katie Kim accidentally ends up with the winning ticket, she unwillingly teams up with Noel Cassidy, a novice lottery protection agent, who is tasked with ensuring her survival until sundown in return for a share of her winnings.
