Nicoline, a seasoned psychologist, begins working at a correctional facility where she encounters Idris, a sex offender with a history of serious offenses. After undergoing five years of therapy, Idris is on the verge of his first solo probation. While his team of therapists is optimistic about his progress, Nicoline, the newcomer, remains skeptical and attempts to delay his release. Idris makes every effort to persuade Nicoline of his genuine intentions, but gradually reveals the manipulative nature she initially suspected. A battle of wills ensues between them, and despite her expertise, Nicoline finds herself entirely ensnared.
