This narrative recounts the maritime escapades of Errol Flynn before his Hollywood fame, as he sails along Australia’s eastern coastline. Accompanying him are his closest companion Rex, a spirited and untamed youth; the Dook, a refined young gentleman from Cambridge; and Charlie, the boat’s former owner, who is now elderly and despondent. Throughout their journey, Flynn and his crew encounter stunning maidens, clandestine boxing rings, police crackdowns, bar fights, predatory sharks, and cannibals. To make ends meet, they are compelled to engage in opium smuggling, all while contending with the tumultuous ocean.
