Ferdinand has been a dedicated employee at Fish Land, the aquarium section of the international leisure complex “Worlds Apart,” for many years. At forty, he is a small, bald, and introverted man who lives a solitary life, entirely consumed by his love for fish. However, his meticulously ordered world is disrupted when Fish Land shuts down for six months for renovations. During this period, Ferdinand is reassigned to a different part of “Worlds Apart”—the Finnish-Turkish Delight spa, which focuses on the pleasures of saunas and steam rooms. Suddenly, Ferdinand finds himself in an environment filled with nudity, sensuality, and relaxation—everything he fears!
