Injustice breeds criminality. Kool, an artist with limited opportunities and a karate black belt, is deeply in love with LaShawna, who is on the path to college. One evening, LaShawna witnesses a stabbing and realizes the victim is a police officer as he dies in her arms. She is wrongfully imprisoned for murder by the notorious Ramparts Division of the LAPD.
