As college students Jake and Jan navigate financial difficulties in today’s economy, they stumble upon a promising business venture thanks to their benefactor and landlord, George. However, a string of misfortunes causes the agreement to collapse, leaving the couple deeper in debt. Desperate, they resort to extreme actions, plotting to kill George to secure a hefty payout.
