Diane Blaine possesses the looks of a Hollywood star, but her misfortune is that her face is already associated with the infamous former celebrity and tabloid sensation, Jamie Stephens. Diane’s career in Hollywood is constantly thwarted by what she calls “TJS” or “Too Jamie Stephens,” leaving her feeling resentful, frustrated, and admittedly, a bit whiny. Her boyfriend and colleague, Jack Sanders, isn’t much of a motivator either, as his idea of ambition is to simply go with the flow. Unfortunately, Jack has landed himself in deep trouble with a gun-happy mobster who, coincidentally, is infatuated with Jamie Stephens. Jack’s only escape plan is to persuade Diane to impersonate Jamie and settle his debt by having a single dinner with a mobster. This could be the most crucial performance of Diane’s life, with Jack’s fate hanging in the balance.
