Longtime friends Toni and Bri have spent more years than they care to admit working at the same greeting card store, both uncertain about their true calling in life. What starts as innocent fun takes an unexpected turn when Toni is mistaken for a lawyer—a role not entirely unfamiliar to her, as she completed law school but never took the bar exam. The situation escalates when Toni and Bri are invited to an upscale corporate Christmas getaway in the snowy mountains of Vermont by the charming business tycoon, Justin (McNally), who is genuinely smitten with Toni, despite her fictitious legal profession.
