In “Hank Zipzer’s Christmas Catastrophe,” we follow Hank as he anticipates the arrival of a new baby brother during the holiday season. However, things rarely go smoothly for Hank. Soon, Miss Adolf transforms Mr. Rock’s “Rudolph the Rock’n’Roll Reindeer” into a solo rendition of “A Christmas Carol.” Meanwhile, two school inspectors suffer injuries in a strange sleighing mishap, and Mr. Joy is on a mission to cancel Christmas entirely. In his quest to salvage victory from the brink of disaster, Hank finds himself ice skating into chaos, nearly toppling a Christmas tree onto a crowd, getting himself and his closest friends arrested, causing his favorite teacher to lose their job, and alienating the love of his life. This time, it seems Hank has truly disappointed everyone. Surely, even Hank can’t find a way out of this mess. Fortunately for us, no one can tell Hank that.
