When Tsanko Petrov, a railway employee, discovers a fortune in cash on the train tracks, he chooses to hand it all over to the authorities. In appreciation, the government presents him with a new wristwatch, which quickly malfunctions. At the same time, Julia Staikova, the PR chief for the Ministry of Transport, misplaces his old watch. This marks the beginning of Petrov’s determined quest to reclaim not just his original watch, but also his self-respect.
