“Cásese quien pueda” is a romantic comedy set in Mexico City and the jungles of Quintana Roo. The film follows two sisters with vastly different life ambitions: one is eager to tie the knot, while the other is focused on advancing her career. However, unexpected twists lead them down unfamiliar paths. Ana Paula, played by Martha Higareda, is on the brink of marriage when she discovers her fiancé’s infidelity with her cousin. Distraught, she drinks heavily and accidentally falls asleep in the back of a truck belonging to a worker who returns to his hometown, a quaint village in Quintana Roo, that same night.
