By the year 2050, a shadowy group known as Galactor has taken control of half the planet and poses a dire threat to humanity’s survival. Concurrently, the International Science Organization discovers enigmatic stones imbued with extraordinary abilities. It is believed that only one individual in about eight million can tap into the stones’ powers, earning the title of “Receptor.” Dr. Kozaburo Nambu assembles a squad of five such fortunate Receptors. This team, called “Gatchaman,” is tasked with the mission of vanquishing Galactor.
