When a spacecraft plummets to Earth, it unveils a band of eccentric little extraterrestrials fleeing for their survival. The “GadgetGang” kids—Gus, Phoebe, Francesco, Mitsue, Mary Ann, Banana, and Tank—quickly realize that their weekend is about to be anything but dull. They soon uncover that, in a distant part of the galaxy, a malevolent warlord named Gana Golber has taken over the Confederation of Planets, putting all planets, including Earth, at risk!
