“Full Contact” is a modern story about a man named Ivan who seeks a new direction in life after inadvertently bombing a school with a drone. Ivan controls the drone from a distant air force base, never having visited the countries he targets or physically interacted with the aircraft he uses for his missions. This form of modern warfare shields him from direct danger and creates a sense of detachment from his targets. However, following the tragic event, Ivan’s sense of disconnection begins to permeate all aspects of his life, leaving him burdened with guilt that he struggles to comprehend.
