“Found” follows the journey of a naive young boy who has grown up in the secluded Appalachian Mountains, living on a traditional homestead without modern amenities and isolated from mainstream society. After an unexpected tragedy, he is thrust into the fast-paced, technology-driven modern world, feeling lost and alone. Eventually, he encounters a family with their own struggles, who decide to take him in, for better or worse. The experiences he undergoes and the revelations those around him have about themselves give fresh significance to the concept of “testing your faith” (James 1:2-4).
