In a world dominated by fear, violence, and alcohol, brothers Aske and Bastian live with their father, Lasse. Despite their harsh environment, the brothers share a deep and unbreakable bond. Aske is forced to fulfill his father’s sexual demands, as well as those of paying clients and his father’s friend, Hans. Determined to shield his younger brother from the same fate, Aske does everything he can to protect Bastian. However, their father eventually abuses Bastian as well. In response, the brothers decide to escape to the serene mountains of Norway, leaving their malevolent father behind. Their friendship remains their greatest strength, providing solace and unity as they start anew, far removed from their past.
