“Floating” tells the tale of a young man’s journey to adulthood amidst a turbulent time marked by emotional and financial collapse. The film features Norman Reedus as Van, a young man burdened with the care of his disillusioned father, who is too absorbed in his own issues to offer Van the emotional support he needs. Chad Lowe plays Doug, who becomes a friend to Van and imparts the crucial lesson that a “perfect life” is often an illusion. Following a series of criminal activities that culminate in disaster, Van and his father finally unite, overcoming their grief together for the first time.
