“FESTED: A Journey To Fest 7” is a documentary that captures the adventure of a group of friends attending the annual punk music festival known as The Fest in Gainesville, Florida. Shot over a two-week period during Fest 7 in 2008, the film chronicles the journey of Gainesville’s own SPANISH GAMBLE (previously known as DIRTY MONEY) and their companions as they strive to perform and immerse themselves in the legendary weekend-long event. The festival has been affectionately described as “punk rock Christmas,” “a massive, boozy, punk rock, bearded, tattooed family reunion,” and “the last true bastion of punk rock.”
