Paul-André, a reserved and somewhat shy man in his forties, finds himself wealthy yet isolated and unfulfilled. In his quest for companionship, he decides that a family might be the solution to his loneliness. Meanwhile, Violette, a vibrant woman also in her forties, faces the threat of eviction and fears losing custody of her two kids. Paul-André offers her a legitimate arrangement: he will settle her debts if she allows him to temporarily join her family. This agreement leads to a series of events that bring both joy and challenges.
