Amidst the turmoil of the Vietnam War in 1969, two young fathers are called to serve—one is deeply religious, while the other is skeptical and questioning. Fast forward 25 years, their sons, Wayne and John Paul (portrayed by David A.R. White and Kevin Downes), cross paths as strangers. With the help of letters penned by their fathers during the war, they set out on a poignant journey to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Throughout their travels, they come to realize that the ravages of war are powerless against the enduring bond between a father and his son.
