During a visit to a nearby psychiatric facility for a class assignment, psychology student Abby Jones has a disturbing interaction with a dangerous patient named Harmon. Unbeknownst to her, this encounter stirs something sinister within him. Later, she goes back to her apartment to study with her two roommates, completely unaware of the ominous events she has set in motion.
