Officer Alex Kearney is assigned to patrol a wealthy area in Philadelphia. During his duty, he stops a powerful executive who vows to retaliate against him. Before long, Kearney finds himself reassigned from his comfortable suburban post to the most dangerous precinct in the city. There, he teams up with seasoned and tough cop Dennis Curran. Although their relationship is initially strained, Kearney quickly demonstrates that he can handle the criminals with equal toughness.
