The film takes place on a cutting-edge Aegis ship, created with the assistance of Japan’s actual Ministry of Defense and Maritime Self-Defense Force. A Self-Defense Force member’s body is discovered, missing its left arm, while a spy has managed to infiltrate the Aegis ship. The protagonist, Ran, finds herself in peril, prompting Conan to confront the menacing spy known as “X.”
