
After being freed from incarceration, French culinary artist Jacques is driven by a singular goal: to escape his history and secure a position with the esteemed British chef, Victor Ellwood. Jacques is aware that Victor once had a romantic involvement with his mother and might even be his biological father. Although working under the demanding and uncompromising Victor is exhausting, Jacques finds solace in the company of an intriguing young woman residing in the apartment below. As he develops feelings for her, he discovers that she harbors a strong dislike for dining establishments and food in general. The question arises: is her eating disorder an insurmountable barrier, impervious even to the power of love?
