The DigiDestined welcome their latest additions, Meiko Mochizuki and Meicoomon, by taking a journey to a local hot spring. At the same time, Joe is growing more aloof as he grapples with the challenge of juggling his responsibilities as a DigiDestined with the demands of his academic pursuits. While the destruction left by Alphamon is gradually being fixed, a new threat emerges in the form of an infected Digimon named Ogremon. Despite their best intentions, the choices the DigiDestined make at this juncture will lead to unexpected outcomes.
