This Kiwi dark comedy features Nige and his best friend Deano, portrayed by Brett McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords and Hamish Blake from Hamish & Andy. The film is directed by Robert Sarkies, known for Scarfies and Out of the Blue, and is adapted from a book by his brother, Duncan Sarkies. The plot follows Nige (McKenzie) who accidentally kills a Scandinavian soccer player in a mishap involving a hot meat pie, a ginger cat, and a police officer. In a panic, he disposes of the body in a nearby construction site and seeks help from his long-time friend of fifteen years, Deano (Blake). However, Deano is far from the ideal person to rely on in a crisis.
