A child’s enigmatic doll, once inhabited by restless spirits, is passed on to the new residents of a house. Discovered in the shadowy corners of the basement, the doll is taken in by a lonely, nearly mute girl who uses a wheelchair. Before long, the once-happy family finds themselves plunged into a nightmare. However, the series of violent deaths and eerie events reconnect the doll with the one person who might be able to intervene—its original owner. She understands the malevolent force that has taken hold of the doll and knows what the spirit desires. This all culminates in a dramatic final confrontation between a psychic and a demon, with the young girl’s soul at stake.
