Artist Brynn Holt decides to rent an isolated cabin in hopes of reigniting her creative spark. However, Sheriff Dusty, played by William Sadler, warns her to leave, explaining that the cabin has been uninhabitable for four decades. Ignoring his advice, Brynn chooses to remain and focus on her painting. As she encounters perilous situations, an unseen spirit emerges to protect her. This ghostly presence takes a life and inhabits a body, persuading Brynn to flee with him and embrace a life on the run. Now accused of murder, Brynn and the spirit dive into their passionate relationship—until they realize his body is still decaying. The ghost requires a new host. Will Brynn continue to find new victims to sustain her beloved, or will she end the affair she once only fantasized about?
