Inspired by Mark Twain’s classic novella ‘The Mysterious Stranger,’ “Day of the Stranger” brings back the essence of the 1970s acid western genre. The story follows Caine Farrowood, a bounty hunter under the thumb of the merciless kingpin Loomweather. During a mission gone wrong, Caine is left for dead. However, he unexpectedly finds himself back at home with his wife, Christina, without any recollection of how he got there. Determined to uncover the truth, Caine embarks on another bounty mission. This time, the stakes are higher, threatening not just his life but his sanity, as he faces an adversary who might be the fallen angel incarnate.
