In the wake of climate change, a new breed of flesh-eating creatures emerges, devouring all living things on Earth. In a suburban neighborhood in Denmark, two teenage brothers, who normally can’t tolerate each other, find themselves in the midst of terrifying events. They are compelled to take refuge together in the basement to avoid being eaten. Overnight, they are left without their parents, electricity, food, water, or any contact with the outside world. The brothers must learn to coexist in their makeshift shelter, while monstrous beings lurk outside the basement windows and the sound of sharp claws echoes on the wooden floors above them.
