Detective Dancer, who is facing personal turmoil and has lost hope in both his life and career, finds his situation transformed when he is teamed up with a police dog suffering from post-traumatic stress. This canine companion aids Dancer in making a significant positive change in his life. In return, Dancer reciprocates by helping the dog, known as the Dame, to heal as well.
