In 1986, a troubled teenager named Henry grapples with his sexual identity and a difficult home environment. While sitting in his closet, overwhelmed by thoughts of ending his life, a sudden flash of light transports him to the year 2016. There, he encounters Ben, a teenager who now resides in Henry’s former room, three decades later.
