A family consisting of a husband, wife, and their two daughters decides to spend their Christmas holiday at a secluded lodge in the forest. There is noticeable strain in the couple’s relationship, as the husband is preoccupied with his corporate responsibilities and ongoing merger discussions. Even during their getaway, he remains glued to his phone. The wife feels neglected. In an attempt to reconnect, he takes her on a small plane ride to a cabin on the other side of the lake. However, the plane unexpectedly loses altitude and crashes into the lake before they can alert anyone. The husband sustains more severe injuries, but with his wife’s help, they embark on a journey through the wilderness toward a remote highway. Meanwhile, the husband’s business partner, believing him to be dead, secretly orchestrates the sale of the company to opportunistic buyers. As the couple battles through the terrain, they are attacked by wild wolves but are saved just in time.
