The performers in “Believe” include vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Kelly, Lisa Lambe, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. The album consists of re-released tracks from their earlier albums, with the exception of a new song titled “Princess Toyotomi,” which is also featured in the film of the same name. This marks the first album where nine members, both current and former, come together. Another album with the same name was launched on January 24, 2012. Both this album and a DVD, which captures a live performance at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, showcase new music from Agnew, Kelly, Lambe, and Nesbitt. This performance was aired on PBS stations in December 2011. Some songs performed during the show, such as “A Tribute To Broadway” by Agnew, Lambe, and Kelly, and “Mná na hÉireann” by Nesbitt, are not included on the CD. The 2012 Believe tour has scheduled dates in Europe and North America, but Lisa Kelly will not participate due to her pregnancy and will be replaced by Susan McFadden.
