John Rancour, a veteran and morally compromised detective, finds himself fleeing after cold-bloodedly killing a fellow officer. With adversaries on both sides of the law eager to see him dead, Rancour is left with no option but to turn to the very journalist, Tyler Chase, who exposed his misdeeds and forced him into hiding. Rancour kidnaps Tyler, compelling him to join in a frantic overnight mission to unveil and dismantle the corrupt system he once helped build during his time on the force. Adding to the complexity is Rancour’s former partner and closest friend, Detective Frank Hanaway, who is determined to prevent them from surviving the night.
