In the 1980s, Camp Pocumtuck was infamous for being one of the most stringent and religious summer camps around. It had to close down after a young girl was hit by lightning. Prior to that, it was the location of a massacre involving Native Americans, and even earlier, several women were executed as witches. Today, Mia’s friends are hesitant about turning this rundown camp into her ideal wedding venue. Mia is a bit high-strung and a control enthusiast. Her gay best friend is attracted to all the groomsmen, and her maid of honor is mainly concerned with having good cellphone service. To make matters worse, Mia mistakenly sent an invitation to an irritating high school friend she hasn’t seen in years. However, Mia is determined to have a flawless wedding, undeterred by the fact that people start vanishing at night, or even when a spirit-possessed Teddy Ruxpin begins advising her to conceal the bodies.
