Facing a looming family crisis, Alex is reluctantly dispatched to a summer camp, the last place she wishes to go. Aware that a school admirer will also be attending, she hesitantly consents to the trip. Surrounded by unfamiliar faces, Alex resolves to isolate herself. Yet, unexpectedly, it is a horse that draws her out of her emotional shell and into new friendships.
