Love is rarely straightforward, and Carly and Rina understand this all too well. Their relationship hits a rough patch when Carly opts to leave medical school and Rina loses her position as a lawyer. This unfortunate turn of events forces them to relocate to a motel, a situation that neither finds satisfactory. To complicate matters further, Rina’s struggle with depression resurfaces, and Carly chooses to invest her remaining funds in a camera to pursue a career in videography.
