
After his family disintegrates, Joshua (played by Aaron Ellis, who also co-wrote and co-directed the film) is compelled to relocate to Canada. There, he encounters Jay (portrayed by Justin Liles), a local tattoo artist who escaped the violent environment created by his parents in Alabama. Both young men, each experiencing their own form of abandonment and loneliness, begin to develop feelings for each other. However, their budding romance is disrupted by the interference of a couple of high school troublemakers. This LGBT film has garnered numerous accolades at various film festivals, including Best LGBT Feature Film at the Accolade Competition and the Independent Filmmakers Showcase IFS Film Festival, as well as Best Leading Actor and Narrative Feature at the IndieFEST Film Awards.
