Following a confrontation at a power plant, Ben observes unusual behavior from the Omnitrix but keeps it to himself. Tetrax soon appears and informs them that the Omnitrix is emitting a self-destruct signal. To prevent the device from annihilating itself and the universe, Tetrax and Ben embark on a mission to locate its creator for repairs. Meanwhile, Gwen secretly joins the journey to assist her cousin.
