Dr. Mi-Soo makes an incorrect diagnosis after encountering a woman’s husband, whom she suspects of being violent. As the woman’s health deteriorates, her husband takes legal action against the hospital. Kang-Il, a firefighter who has lost his wife, becomes aware of the situation and, while trying to advise the husband, ends up being attacked by him. Upon discovering this altercation, Mi-Soo seeks Kang-Il’s support as a character witness and begins to suspect that he might be her soulmate.
