Jeff Marx aspires to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor. Unfortunately, his academic performance falls short of the requirements for admission to a medical school in the United States. However, he receives an opportunity to study medicine overseas in a small Latin American country ruled by the dictator Ramon Madera, who takes a keen interest in the conduct of the medical students.
