When a group of swans settles on the Peterson farm, 10-year-old Frankie is immediately enchanted. However, the arrival of the pragmatic ornithologist Ginny Newsom, determined to “rescue” the elegant creatures, stirs things up. Frankie’s father, Jack, takes an instant dislike to the assertive and opinionated Ginny.
