In a not-too-distant future, Earth’s usual way of life has been shattered. Paul and his sons, Thomas and Joseph, endure a fragmented existence—peaceful during daylight, but plagued by terror once darkness falls. Each night, they are besieged by a relentless and enigmatic malevolence. When Thomas fails to return home before nightfall one day, Paul is compelled to venture beyond the security of their fortified farm to search for him.
