Set in the heart of Los Angeles’ criminal underbelly, “Arc” follows the journey of Paris Pritchert, a former cop who has become a drug dealer and addict. He sets out on a mission to locate a missing child, hoping to restore his deteriorating sense of self-worth. However, like many addicts, Paris’ self-assurance is entirely dependent on the drugs he consumes. He believes that maintaining a constant high is essential to successfully completing his mission and staying alive. To assist him, Paris teams up with Maya Gibbs, an African American sex worker who is not only street-smart but also well-versed in the writings of Maya Angelou and Nadine Gordimer. As they navigate their way through this chaotic world, they encounter the child’s parents, a doctor with a taste for hiring “Street Boys,” a self-proclaimed King of Porn, a drug dealer known for his exquisite hors d’oeuvres, and a seasoned cop with more schemes than the most cunning street hustler.
