After observing the end of the world from a research shelter in the Scottish highlands, Jack finds himself alone with just the AI mainframe computer, J.I.M., for companionship. Eight years later, when their food reserves are depleted, Jack and J.I.M. embark on a journey through the desolate, post-apocalyptic landscape to convey a crucial message.
