Antarctica captivates our imagination as the planet’s most isolated and daunting continent. This vast expanse is blanketed by ice up to three miles thick, presenting an image of invincibility, shrouded in cold and darkness for the majority of the year. However, it is also a delicate ecosystem, teeming with an astonishing array of life along its periphery, arguably the most awe-inspiring and untouched place on Earth. The only certainty is its perpetual transformation, with changes occurring every season, day, and hour. I’ve had the privilege of visiting Antarctica numerous times, most recently capturing its essence with 3D cameras—a pioneering effort for the region. This endeavor has culminated in our latest film, Antarctica: On the Edge.
