Naive and alluring Allyson decides to leave her boyfriend Peter behind to pursue acting lessons in Los Angeles. Upon arriving, she rents a room in an apartment complex owned by the cantankerous Mr. Merry, with her neighbor being Bridget, a local escort. During the day, Allyson faces challenges with her acting classes at the pretentious Eric Constantine’s school. At night, she indulges in self-exploration while observing the self-assured Bridget attending to her clients through the keyhole. In her acting class, she encounters Jerry, a professional photographer, who proposes to create a portfolio for her.
