Ajin is a live-action film based on a Japanese manga series created by Gamon Sakurai. The story follows Kei Nagai, who, after dying in a car crash, discovers he is an immortal being called an Ajin, or demi-human. Pursued by humans, Kei is eventually captured by the government and subjected to brutal experiments. As he makes his escape, he encounters other demi-humans and joins them in their flight.
