Shaul, portrayed by Uri Pepper, is the central character of the film, a lonely man dealing with the aftermath of a divorce. Struggling with his emotional turmoil, he visits his father, Shimon, played by Moni Moshonov, in Haifa. During this visit, Shaul accuses his father of being the root cause of his present troubles. In response, Shimon and his partner, Betty, played by Michaela Eshet, attempt to assist Shaul through unconventional means, employing stones believed to have mystical properties and healing oils. Thanks to their efforts, Shaul begins to adopt a more hopeful outlook on life.
